Treat yourself to an hour of shopping while your kids enjoy fun activities designed especially for them by the YMCA! Parkridge Center is offering an on-site, drop-in child care center in partnership with the YMCA every Saturday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM from June 23 – August 11. Activities may include arts &crafts, story-time, free play, basic early learning skills such as shapes, colors and counting and enhanced socialization skills! There is no advanced registration. However, the class is limited to the first 20 children that arrive.

The Odd Market at the Autry is located directly across from the L.A. Zoo. There’s a huge kids area with a rock wall, massive inflatables, bungee and toddler wing, mobile boutiques with over 80 pop-up shops, access to the Autry Gallery until 9 p.m. is included in the admission price, a full bar (!), live music and guest DJs and pets are welcome. The Idyllwild Arts Foundation presents the 2018 Summer Culmination Concert of the Boarding Arts High School Summer Chamber Festival Orchestra and Festival Choir & Ensemble of Idyllwild Arts. The program will feature over 150 young students, given the chance to fuel their dreams and perform on Walt Disney Concert Hall’s world-class stage, home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic. As a true youth-only orchestra and choir, the performance will showcase some of the most talented high school students from around the world, ranging from 13-to-18 years old, playing legendary classical works. The featured repertoire will include Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier Suite and The Journey of Harriet Tubman by Ron Kean, which students will perform under the masterful batons of Maestros Larry Livingston, Dr. Joseph Modica, and Assistant Conductor Sey Ahn.
