One Fish, Two Fish: 8 Fantastic Places to See & Touch Fish

Kids love fish. And there’s probably a good reason why. They watch them on the big screen, eat snacks shaped like them and even visit entire theme parks dedicated to them. So why not make your little fish fanatic happy this fall by heading to one of these local spots to watch (or even touch) our finned friends. Swim, err, flip through the gallery to see our favorite places where fish lovers (big and small) can meet these creatures of the deep.

Seattle Aquarium

20,000 leagues under Puget Sound —your little Captain Nemos will feel like he is in the tank with the fish when he sees the amazing Window On Washington Waters. If you want to interact with some fish, head to the Life on the Edge tidepools, where you can reach in and say hello to a sculpin (a small fish that hops from tidepool to tidepool), sea urchins, hermit crabs and more. Seattle Aquarium has so much to offer the fish fan, including an amazing undersea dome with a 360º view. Of course, you don't want to miss the furry otters and birds, too!

Good to Know: You'll often see divers in the Window on Washington tank, wearing specialized masks, so they can answer questions from guests.
