Be My Valentine: Valentine’s Day Activities for Seattle Kids

Long gone are the days when Valentines Day meant a romantic, intimate dinner with your partner over a bottle of wine and candlelight. These days Valentines Day means fun arts and crafts with the kiddos, lots of sweets (and sugar-crazed little ones), and if you’re lucky, some flowers and a dinner out with your hubby. This year while you drop some not so subtle hints about that much-needed date night, we suggest including the whole family in your V-Day plans (after all, the kids are always down for a celebration, especially one that involves treats). We’ve got plenty of Valentines Day activities from cultural events to calorie burning that will spread the love (and the cupcake frosting) this year.

Cupcake Royale’s Annual Valentine’s Day Sprinkle Party
Bring your little sweeties to Cupcake Royale’s Capitol Hill location February 7 for a frosting and decorating party, complete with a photo booth to remember the occasion.

Eastside kids with a sweet tooth, get ready: guest froster and Cupcake Royale owner Jody Hall will be at the bakery’s Bellevue location, sharing favorite flavors and baking tips at a sprinkle party February 9. Red Tricycle’s going to be there too, so be sure to stop by and say hello!
