Instant Pot weight loss may not exactly be a phrase that you hear every day. But for one mama it’s absolutely everything. When Brittany Williams made a New Year’s resolution in January of 2017, she couldn’t have imagined that one Instant Pot would make such a big difference. Check out what Williams did to lose 77 (yes, 77) pounds in one year.

There are countless diets online, in books, on blogs and all over the place. Should you go paleo? Maybe you should try lemon juice and tobacco? Or should you switch to a totally vegan way of life? Weight loss isn’t easy, and with all of the options available, it can get confusing.

Williams was at the point of considering weight loss surgery when she vowed to start cooking all of her family’s meals at home. The San Diego mom told ABC News, “I didn’t think it was possible to lose all the weight by myself.”

Enter the Instant Pot. If you’re not familiar with these handy-dandy kitchen devices, they’re a combo pressure cooker and slow cooker all in one. When Williams started struggling just to sit down on the floor and play with her kids, she took charge of weight and her life. She started cooking five to six dinners a week, plus other meals during the day, in her Instant Pot.

Along with breakfast smoothies, raw veggies for lunch and other tasty (yet, totally healthy) foods, Williams dropped the weight and even started saving money on her family’s food budget!
